Miss Capital City's Outstanding Teen Competition


Our 2019 competition will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 7 pm at Mercer University's Atlanta Campus. There is a MANDATORY dress rehearsal on Friday, September 28, 2018 beginning at 5:30 pm. Interviews will be held on Saturday morning and afternoon prior to the competition that evening.        


Age/Education Eligibility

• To be eligible to compete in Miss Capital City's Outstanding Teen Competition
Candidates must be at least 13 years of age on the first day of the State Competition in which she competes; and

• Can be no older than 17 years of age as of July 31 in the calendar year of the State Competition in which competes, unless she is 18 years old and has not graduated from high school as of July 31st in the calendar year of the State Competition in which she competes.

• For the avoidance of doubt, 13 to 17 year old high-school graduates, as well as 18 year old non-graduates as of July 31st, must compete at MAOTeen level.

​Residency Requirements

To be eligible to compete in Miss Capital City’s Outstanding Teen Competition, the candidate must comply with the following Residency Requirements:
• Must reside in or be enrolled in, and attending classes on a full-time basis in an accredited school or home-schooling program;
• Must be a resident of Georgia for a minimum of six (6) months prior to her Local Competition;
• Must have completed one full semester as a full-time student, if contestant is competing in a state due to her status as a student in that state. 


BECOMING A CANDIDATE: The deadline for competition registration is September 17, 2018. The following items must be RECEIVED by September 17, so please allow sufficient time if mailing. The forms must be typed and you must use the the required forms.

    (in case of two requests for the same music, the candidate whose form is received first will be allowed to use the music)

  8. Music CD (CD or MP3 only please; music cannot exceed 90 seconds in time) *Please mail to Erin Haney at 5107 Pine Heights Drive, Atlanta, GA 30324 or email to evhaney@gmail.com.
  9. Proof of Residency (driver's license or school transcript, etc.)
  10. Birth Certificate
  11. Photogenic Award (Optional)-Word Format
  12. Check for entry fee in the amount of $125
