TERI
GALVEZ (District of Columbia) – Teri Galvez is President
of Paradigm Event Management, a marketing, special events, and conference
planning company which she launched in 1996. Among her clients are
Fortune 500 Companies, Non-profits, and National Associations. Teri
serves on the Advisory Board of the National Foundation for Teaching
Entrepreneurship, is Vice Chair of the District of Columbia Republican
Party and served as a delegate to the 2004 Republican Convention.
In 2008 she was a member of the Romney for President National Hispanic
Steering Committee and was a “Women for Mitt Romney” Vice Chair.
Teri is no stranger to the Miss America Organization. In 1983 she
held the title of Miss Stanislaus County and competed in the Miss
California Pageant. As a beneficiary of the Miss America Scholarship
Program she felt it important to volunteer and help other young
women prepare for great careers and reach their goals. To that end,
Teri now serves as Executive Director of the Miss District of Columbia
Scholarship Organization.

SANDY
NICKLAS (Illinois) – Sandy made the shift from contestant
in the 1960’s to pageant supporter in 1997, serving as Business
Manager to Kate Shindle, Miss America 1998, when Kate was Miss Illinois.
She is an accredited Miss America judge and has judged numerous
local and state preliminaries coast-to-coast, as well as national
and state dance and cheerleading competitions. Additionally, she
has judged the National Sweetheart Pageant. Sandy earned a Bachelor
of Arts Degree in Art Education and Masters Degree in Special Education
prior to beginning her 40-year career with United Airlines. During
those 40 years she has been a Flight Attendant, Supervisor, Trainer,
and Headquarters Project Manager. As Supervisor of Appearance at
United Airlines Flight Attendant Training Center in Chicago, Sandy
oversaw all grooming and poise requirements for thousands of trainees.
Sandy has also served as a company consultant on cultural diversity
as well as international and domestic etiquette and protocol.

ASHLEY
BYRD (South Carolina) – Ashley Byrd, a native of the Palmetto
State, is Executive Director of the Miss Hartsville Pageant. A member
of the Miss South Carolina family for 15 years, Ashley has previously
served as a Field Director in addition to serving as a local pageant
board member. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting
from the University of South Carolina and a Masters degree in Business
Administration from Francis Marion University. Having been an Adjunct
Professor of Business at Coker College, Ashley is currently an Account
Executive with Sonoco Products at their global headquarters in Hartsville,
SC, and is a former President of the Darlington County Mental Health
Association. In July, his local titleholder, Kelly Sloan, was crowned
Miss South Carolina 2009, a perfect culmination to the Miss Hartsville
Pageant’s 70th Anniversary Celebration. Ashley is on the Miss America
accredited judges list and has judged numerous local preliminaries
in three southeastern states.

HUNTER
DANIEL (Texas) – Hunter Daniel has been involved with the
Miss America Organization for the past eight years. He is currently
the Executive Director of the Miss Dallas Scholarship Organization
and Co-Director of the Miss Grapevine Scholarship Organization.
An accredited Miss America judge, Hunter has judged on both the
state and local level including serving on the local panels that
crowned Miss Texas 2008 Rebecca Robinson and Miss Arkansas’s Outstanding
Teen 2008 Sloane Roberts. On the state level, Hunter judged the
2008 Miss Oklahoma’s Outstanding Teen Pageant. As a print model,
he is recognized for his national ads for Abercrombie & Fitch,
Armani, and Redkin. You might even recognize him as a top-five finalist
on the national male model reality TV show, Manhunt. Hunter is currently
employed with Radisson Hotels at their Dallas/Uptown location as
a marketing and sales specialist.

BRYANT
REID (Georgia) – Though originally from Cincinnati, OH,
Bryant Reid now calls Atlanta home. He is President & CEO of
B Street Entertainment, a multifaceted company that handles music,
television, film, artist and producer management as well as music
and television consulting. Bryant is also the creator and executive
producer of one of the top rated programs B Street Live, a weekly
half-hour music series that reached over 9 millions homes on the
former regional network Turner South. Bryant is the former head
of Artists & Repertoire at LaFace Records and former VP of A&R
at Atlantic Records. He assembled the writers and producers to work
on mega-star Toni Braxton’s multi-platinum selling debut album as
well as mega-selling group TLC. He also discovered the Grammy Award
winning and multi-platinum superstar Usher and hit producer Jermaine
Dupri.
